Cy-plot Memory

Projection Mapping | Multimedia Installation

"Cy-plot Memory" is a video installation on a miniature model, combining three different intertwined stories, ranging from autographical to Chinese literature. The project explores the cyclical nature of time through the processes of memory that document it.

All character elements were shot on a green screen, animated in post-production to then projection mapped with textures upon the miniature model. LED lights were controlled digitally to bridge the world of projected visuals with the physical model.

The installation was first presented at the "DOT+ LINE=" event at University of Arts London on January 22nd, 2015, which was an installation & performance promenade event showcasing performance, installations and projection mapping among others.

The present work was created collaboratively by: Dimitra Trousa, Henrike Ghersi, Jialu Chen and Yue Fu. The music used for the background was submitted by “Your Hand In Mine” from their album "The Garden Novels" (℗ 2011 Inner Ear Records).
